Stovetop Chili
Its Beginning to get cold outside, and we need good hearty foods to fill our belly’s. One of favorite meals to eat as I get cozy in front of my TV is good homemade Chili! This is a meal I cook all the time and has become a Christmas Eve staple for myself and my babies as we watch The Grinch while having a sleep over in the living room. I hope you enjoy this recipe!
Ingredients:
1 pound Ground beef
Tomato sauce
beef broth (or Water substitute)
Chili Beans
Chili powder
Lawry’s Seasoned salt
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Cumin
Paprika
Peppers
Red Chili
Green onions
Instructions:
First cook meat until it is brown. Drain the meat and place back in dutch oven.
Add peppers, Onions, and Beef Broth or Water if you don’t have the broth. (preferably broth for more flavor.)
Add Chili powder, chives, parsley, garlic powder, ground cumin, and onion powder.
let simmer on medium for 10 to 15 minutes.
Enjoy with your favorite toppings:
add shredded cheese
sour cream
chives
crackers or whatever you desire!
