Southern Fried Cabbage with Shrimp
When I need something new or creative to eat, I always turn to Pinterest for ideas. A few days ago, while scrolling I came across this video of this amazing looking dish. Now let me remind you, I hate veggies. I usually have to hide them in my food just to get them in my body. With that being said, I want to eat as healthy as a can to make sure live a long happy life for as long as God allows me too. This recipe was so good and tasty, I enjoyed this one so much. To make it yourself follow the recipe below:
Ingredients
- Cabbage
- uncooked shrimp
- Beef Smoked Sausage
- Bacon
- Red, yellow and green peppers
- onion
- paprika
- seafood seasoning
- Butter
Directions:
- Heat your skillet on medium and butter the pan. Cut up your bacon and sausages and add them into the skillet. Let cook until both bacon and sausage are brown.
- Remove sausages and bacon from skillet. Season Shrimp with seafood seasoning and paprika and add into the same skillet. Let cook for 2-4 minutes and remove and set aside.
- Cut up red, green and yellow peppers and onions and put into skillet. let cook for 2 minutes and then add cabbage. mixed and cook for 15 minutes
- Add bacon, sausage, and shrimp, mixed together and let cook for another 10-15 on medium.
