    How To: Revive Your Wig!

Hello everyone! How is Monday going? mine is ok, just working, going to school and being a mom. As you can imagine juggling all three of those titles I hardly ever have the time nor the money to make myself look and feel good. I love wigs but they can get expensive so I like to boil my wigs to make them last longer. I practice this hack all the time so that I look good every chance I get. One time I did it so much I was able to where that same wig for over three months and only reason why I couldn’t keep it longer was because…

Jaelon & Journee’s Dr. Favorite Dr. Seuss Books

Hello! How has everyone’s week been so far. Mine has been hectic. I started school two weeks ago and the work is starting to pile up. Its getting more and more tedious but I love the structure its giving me. My kids are enjoying everything in their life right now and can’t wait for the holiday season to kick in. I have their Christmas list and starting to get that together. Every night I read to my eyes before bed. I let them both pick out a book of their choice and I read to them (with their assistance, of course). afterwards we say the lord’s prayer and I sit…

    Favorite Fall Shoes!

So Its November and I couldn’t wait to do a post on some of my favorite fall boots and booties. I have small but very cute collection of fall shoes so lets take a look. First I have newest pair. These brown boots are from Walmart, they cost about $10 and that are snug and comfortable. They are ankle length and fit well with most of my jeans and khaki outfits. Next are my ankle length boots from Plato’s Closet. These were used boots when I got them and now they are really a bit worn out out but I love them just the same. I spent around $10-$15 on…

My Biggest Struggles as a Mom

Hello everyone! Today I’m writing to you as a mom. How many of you spend hours, days, months and years making sure that your children are getting all they can from you? It’s difficult isn’t it? Though you love your babies you wish to just be alone. I go through this all time. I will lay down my life for my kids but being a mom is the most exhausting job out there. It’s none stop work. We mother’s are the stylist, the cook, the driver, the therapist, the bank, the buyer, the pastor, the teacher, the counselor and more and we don’t even get paid for it, and God…

    My non-existing breastfeeding Journey

Hello everyone! I hope your weekend has been good. Today I am gonna share my breastfeeding stories and how much of an epic fail both times were for me. Each child was different, and each reason was different so lets get into it. Jaelon: My experience with Jaelon was so difficult. I wanted to breastfeed so bad, and that was my plan. I had talked to my doctors about it, we had a plan and I even did my own research. When Jaelon was born, I immediately began the journey, except…… Jaelon refused to latch on. They brought me a lactation nurse so she could assist me in getting him…

    My Writing Playlist

Hello to my faithful readers, I hope all is well. Today’s topic is….you guessed it….My writing playlist. As a writer, there is no way I can sit in silence and write a book or novel. Honestly I am listening to my playlist as i’m writing this blog post right now, because writing can get a little boring. When it comes to music I have to match my music with whatever i’m writing about. I’m a romantic writer, I write love poems and my first novel that I am currently working on is an erotic romance novel. With that being said I have a lot of love songs on my playlist,…

    My Morning Routine

Hey! I hope all is well with everyone. I know i’m beat after the week I’ve had, but as a mother of two I gotta do what I gotta do. My friends always ask me how I get through it and I tell them I have no clue. I really just go with the motions. Then again that’s not completely true. I do have a routine from Monday through Friday to get the morning started. Besides the getting out of bed part, it really isn’t that hectic. So for all you mamma’s out there, i’m hoping I give a little encouragement on how to get through the morning without losing…
