Coping With Anxiety

Hi everyone! I hope your week is going great! it is thanksgiving! the last few weeks have not been bad per say but I have been feeling a little down. Normally when I get like this get completely lazy. I don’t want to do anything but sleep all day, lay in the bed and eat. When I get like this I know that I’m emotionally and/or physical drained.

when this feeling comes to me nothing gets accomplished in my life so I Have to force myself to get up and get motivated. I have two Meditation apps on my phone:

  1. Chakra Meditation
  2. Liberate

I love both of these so much. Liberate provides guided meditation and in several categories such as The body, connecting with the ancestors, gratitude, love and microaggressions to name a few. Chakra Meditation is more directed to your chakra’s (duh! its in the Title). For those of you who don’t know you have 7 chakra’s, they are:

  1. Crown
  2. Third Eye
  3. Throat
  4. Heart
  5. Solar Plexus
  6. Sacral
  7. Root

Now I’m just learning about Chakra’s so I cant tell you much but I will encourage all of you to look into it and I’ll educate you as I go along. I also burn sage weekly soon to be daily in my home. Sage cleanses the home of negative energies. I burn it in my room, my kids room, around all doors, living room and so on. Some say that if you moving into a new home to burn sage around the house before moving you household goods in.

I also have a Sacred Space where I keep my candles, essential oils, crystals, my journal, bible and other spiritual books. I sit in that space and write, meditate, write personal thoughts, manifest, and pray to Yahweh.

This calms my spirit, centers me and helps me refocus on myself and things I need to get done. It also spiritual revealing as I learn myself better. Now I’m not this is a cure for mental health issues, seeking a therapist is the best way to go especially if you have depression. I am just sharing how I cope.

Do you have anxiety or depression? How do you cope? Do you know someone going through it? If so share below in the comment section and encourage everyone you know to take better care of their mental health.
